Minimalism is a nice name for saying that you should get rid of things you don’t need. In the end it’s all about what we feel so why a special name for obvious things he didn’t know.
But he needed to get rid of the spam jamming his inbox. Flooded with irrelevant messages, mails from agencies he had subscribed to years ago. He had not looked at them since.
So he found out good techniques and got rid of junk. And now the mailbox is clean and almost always the mails are meaningful. And they are a lot less.
