End of Year One

March 30, 2010 § Leave a comment

Year one of PGDM (equivalent to MBA) has ended today with the last submission. (Giving an assignment is called ‘submitting’ for no small reason). Just a quick glance at some things I observed. First, there are very, or to put it better, there are really intelligent people at the bottom of the CGPA pyramid. But I am yet to figure out why they choose to be there.

And now a good academic record does not mean that one is intelligent, but just that the person had the good sense to get it because it would benefit him later. Similarly, one with few prizes/certificates in quizzing may know less than who has none, but the former was practical when he got them. He can use them. (But it would be wise not to identify with them).

And what have I learned? Well I will let the following picture say a few words on that one.

Of course red, blue and green are the primary colors for most of the people here. They are engineers.
